Erhu players in Hengshui set Guinness World Record

The primary and middle school students played two songs in five minutes and 16 seconds at the No 2 Middle School stadium in Raoyang county.

Zhao Zihan, one of the primary students, said the event encouraged her interest in learning to play traditional Chinese musical instruments.

The new erhu player said she spent more than two months learning the two songs, Hengshui Daily reported.
