New £20 note features J.M.W. Turner

The Bank of England unveiled on Thursday the new £20 note that will be in circulation in February 2020. The new note will be made of polymer instead of paper and will feature British artist JMW Turner.

The £20 note is most commonly used, as well as frequently forged note in Britain. The new polymer material will not only prevent counterfeiting, but also make the notes more durable.
