Int'l photo festival kicks off in North China's Shanxi province

The 19th Pingyao International Photography Festival kicked off in the Ancient City of Pingyao, Jinzhong, in North China's Shanxi province on Thursday. More than 4,000 photographers from 31 countries and regions are attending the event and displaying more than 12,000 works. In a feature exhibition to mark the PRC's 70th anniversary, 70 group photos, each by a prestigious photographer, record the history of the nation.
