Hong Kong residents voiced their strong determination to protect their home after the city's one and only World War II cenotaph was desecrated by an anti-government mob on Tuesday, a day before the 88th anniversary of the "September 18 Incident".

They voluntarily cleaned up the monument in Tai Po, Hong Kong.
