During the UNGA, Wang will also attend a series of bilateral and multilateral activities.

Wang will fully introduce the achievements China has made over the past 70 years, elaborate on China's foreign policy and basic positions regarding the current international situation as well as major regional and global issues, Hua said.

The State Councilor will express China's firm support for multilateralism and the UN and promote China's communication and cooperation with other countries and international organizations, she said.

"China hopes to ... make joint efforts in resolving international and regional hotspot issues, as well as global issues of common concern," Hua said.
