Tourism summit kicks off in Finland

At the ceremony, the Global Report on Smart Tourism in Cities was released by WTCF's expert, Li Yunpeng, in order to help cities learn smart tourism development experience from Beijing, Chengdu, Madrid, Helsinki, Buenos Aires and Marrakech, as well as world-leading technology enterprises such as China-based Tencent and Ctrip, and MIT's Perceivable City Lab.
In collaboration with Tencent, millions of Chinese tourists heading to Helsinki can plan their journeys and buy local transportation tickets beforehand by the WeChat Helsinki Mini Program, which is a new function in the popular messaging application WeChat invented by Tencent.
