Beijing's new airport completes second round of test flights

At 5:43 pm on Monday, the A320 became the first plane to land on the airport runway. It tested CAT ⅢB landing and takeoff with a runway visual range (RVR) of 75 meters, both the first in the country. It also completed taking off, landing and taxiing in low-visibility conditions.
China United Airlines, the first airline company stationed in Daxing International Airport, focused on testing the flight procedures and new technology devices.
In addition, Beijing Capital Airlines tested its A330 wide-body aircraft. The plane completed tests including the ground procedures, taking off, landing, taxiing and truck-towing examinations.
