VIENTIANE - Twenty more Chinese tourists injured in a road accident in northern Laos flew back to China via a chartered flight on Friday afternoon.

On Thursday afternoon, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA)'s Peace Train medical team accompanied four injured Chinese tourists to take flights back to China.

On Friday, with the help of the medical staff from the Chinese and Lao armies and volunteers, the injured boarded a chartered China Eastern Airlines flight, to fly back to Nanjing, capital of China's Jiangsu province, where most of the injured tourists came from.

Chinese Ambassador to Laos Jiang Zaidong, together with officials from the Chinese and Lao governments, went to the airport, visiting and seeing off the injured and their families.
