Lum bathing - an intangible cultural heritage

In the Tibet autonomous region, a traditional herbal bathing therapy known as lum has been handed down for millennia to treat conditions such as arthritis and skin problems. Efforts to preserve the techniques have received new energy since last year, when lum bathing was listed by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of China.
