NANJING -- A new cargo air route has been launched to link the city of Yancheng in East China's Jiangsu province and Incheon International Airport in the Republic of Korea.
The cargo flight service, which began Wednesday and was operated by China's YTO Airlines, will be available four times a week, with 14 tonnes of goods, including automobile parts, electronic devices and machines parts loaded on each flight, said the service provider.
The airline is expected to improve the transportation capability of the international airport in Yancheng, and help open up markets in countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.
The company also plans to open a cargo route soon connecting Yancheng and Osaka, Japan.
