Landslide death toll rises to 36, 15 missing

Thirty-six people are dead and 15 more remain missing after a landslide hit Southwest China's Guizhou province, local authorities said on Sunday.
On Tuesday night, a landslide buried 21 houses in a village in Shuicheng county, Liupanshui.
Rescue work soon started and the local government has set up a temporary settlement point in a local middle school, offering medical services and psychological counseling.
A 30 million yuan ($4.35 million) disaster relief fund has been allocated by the ministries of finance and emergency management and will be used to support the search and rescue effort and relocation of victims, as well as other disaster relief work.
