Beijing railway police crack down on scalpers, unlicensed taxis in summer transport season

BEIJING - As of Wednesday, Beijing's railway police have uncovered 60 public security cases and detained 47 people during the "summer transport" season that runs from the start of July to the end of August.

The actions are targeted on problems including ticket scalping and unlicensed taxis.

A total of 100 policemen have participated in the action, focusing on major railway stations.
