State Council appoints, removes officials

BEIJING -- The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of officials Wednesday.

Ma Zhaoxu was appointed vice minister of foreign affairs.

Zhang Jun no longer serves as assistant minister of foreign affairs.
