Over 400 participants attend Chinese Science Education Summit

The 2019 Chinese Science Education Summit was held in Beijing recently and its theme was "Make science education more scientific".

Speaking at the event, Zou Caineng, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, emphasized the importance of cultivating a sense of innovation sense in kids.

David G. Evans, a professor at Beijing University of Chemical Technology presented some scientific experiments at the event and explained the necessity of letting kids do the experiments themselves.

The summit was held by the Kindergarten of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Beijing Association for Early Education and Development and attracted more than 400 participants from all over China.
