China publishes book to explain its development in 7 decades

BEIJING - A book about the development of the People's Republic of China (PRC) since its founding has been published, the People's Daily reported Tuesday.
The book was published by Xuexi Publishing House and the People's Publishing House and compiled by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, according to the newspaper.
It features 12 key issues, such as what changes were made in the past 70 years, how China's economic miracle was achieved, and why the CPC could govern China over the past seven decades.
The book was published to celebrate the 70th founding anniversary of the PRC.
