China to hold 2019 World Internet of Things Exposition

BEIJING -- The 2019 World Internet of Things Exposition (WIOT) will be held in Wuxi, eastern China's Jiangsu province, from September 7 to 10.
This year's exposition will focus on the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), the convergence of the mobile Internet and the Internet of Things (IoT).
Earlier in May, Wuxi was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to be the pilot area of developing IoV.
Exhibitors including traditional car makers, automotive electronics manufacturers and IoV platform service providers will showcase new achievements of the IoV industry.
More than 30 of the world's top 500 companies will participate in the exposition.
Discussions will also involve sectors including intelligent manufacturing, intelligent robots, information security, big data and 5G.
A total of 180,000 visitors are expected to attend the exposition, including guests from more than 30 countries and regions.
