Man, 91, donates 200,000 yuan to fund scholarships for poor students

This June, nine of the 10 scholarship recipients graduated, with the remaining one, a medical student, still studying for a degree and taking an internship outside the city.

Last week, Yang was invited to the students' graduation ceremony, sharing their joy, "Grandpa Yang is just like our grandparent. I'm sure he will be very happy witnessing our graduation," said Hu Ying.

"I am so glad to support them in completing their study," the 91-year old said.
