4.7-magnitude earthquake strikes Southwest China's Yunnan province

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck Chuxiong city of Chuxiong Yi autonomous prefecture in Southwest China's Yunnan province Monday evening, according to the China Earthquake Network.
The epicenter was monitored at 24.94 degrees north latitude and 101.69 degrees east longitude.
The quake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to the network.
