Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering and Developing in Tianjin opens

A three-day Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering and Developing in Tianjin China 2019 hosted by the Tianjin Municipal People's Government and Overseas Chinese Affairs of the State Council opened today in the Tianjin Meijiang Convention Center.

The theme of this year's fair was "Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Sharing and Win-win".

As Tianjin plays important roles in major national campaigns such as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development, innovation-driven development and Free Trade Pilot Zone expansion, the conference energizes Binhai New Area’s development and the construction of Qiaomengyuan overseas Chinese merchants' industrial agglomeration by encouraging and guiding overseas Chinese to innovate and start businesses in Tianjin.

During the conference, branch meetings will be held to facilitate cooperation and communication in science and technology innovation projects, Belt and Road Initiative projects, “Qiaomengyuan” construction and development, and other areas.

Meanwhile, events such as the Chinese Project and Commodity Expo of the World Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, and the 6th Overseas Tianjin People's Association, will also be parts of the conference.
