China Tourism & Culture Week promotes Tianjin's beauty in Mauritius
The Beautiful Tianjin Gala Show of the 2019 China Tourism & Culture Week was held at the Jinfei Theater in Mauritius on May 31, showcasing the beauty of North China’s Tianjin city through a medley of cultural and artistic performances.
The event was jointly organized by Mauritius Ministry of Arts and Culture, the Chinese Embassy in Mauritius, the China Cultural Center in Mauritius, the Tianjin Bureau of Culture and Tourism and the Mauritius Lion and Dragon Dance Federation.
More than Twenty performers from the Beautiful Tianjin Art Troupe dazzled the audience with an artistic feast featuring martial arts, acrobatics, dances, and Chinese folk music.
The event, an important part of the 2019 China Culture & Tourism and the 14th Dragon Boat Festival Celebration in Mauritius, will be followed by a series of cultural events to delight the Mauritian people and offer them a window on the charm of Chinese culture and its colorful tourism resources.
