Ancient buildings are brought back to life at a park in Bengbu in East China's Anhui province.

More than 100 skilled craftsmen are busy repairing ancient buildings at the Bengbu Ancient Residence Exhibition Park. Hundreds of buildings, mostly traditional residences, have been collected from across China and relocated to the park. Around 450 have been repaired and rebuilt on their new sites on an island at the park's Longzi Lake.

The park is still under construction and is expected to cover more than 330 hectares upon completion — one of the country's largest spots for ancient residences.
