Known as the hometown of Chinese shadow puppetry, Huazhou district of Weinan in Northwest China's Shaanxi province has now adapted its traditional heritage for the contemporary market. In the process of rejuvenation, cultural activities such as shadow puppetry and bamboo weaving have created considerable jobs for local residents and helped many people to live a better life.
