BEIJING - China's Ministry of Public Security has made public a list of drivers who are banned from driving for life since the beginning of this year to alert drivers of dangerous driving behavior.
Ten provincial regions, including Beijing and its neighboring Hebei province, unveiled a list of 1,146 newly added drivers banned from driving for life since January, according to the ministry.
The ministry's traffic administration bureau launched a campaign to expose major traffic violations to promote rectification of potential risks.
Apart from the banned drivers, the exposure mainly targets illegal vehicles, typical accident cases, accident-prone road sections, and high-risk transport enterprises.
