USA break Britain's resistance in second period at ice hockey worlds

BRATISLAVA -- Britain showed spirited effort to keep pace with the United States in the first period, but the favorites decided the Group A clash at ice hockey worlds in the second to put the Wednesday game away at 6-3.

Britain are still waiting for their first points in Group A after losing 9-0 to Denmark on Tuesday.
