'Avengers: Endgame' continues to dominate China daily box office

BEIJING - Disney and Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame" continued to top Chinese mainland daily box office Thursday, the second day of the May Day holiday.

The superhero movie grossed over 337.76 million yuan (about $50.18 million), according to China Movie Data Information Network.

Lebanese film "Capernaum" took the second place, taking in nearly 31.49 million yuan.

Coming in third was domestic romantic drama Always Miss You, which earned around 22.82 million yuan on its second day of release.
