Beijing exhibition celebrates Hengshui's cultural legacies

Hengshui in Hebei province is known for producing laobaigan one of China's best received liquors, while the historic city also has rich cultural legacies.

Glory of Hengshui, an exhibition now on at the National Museum of China introduces the lesser-known sides of Hengshui's historical and cultural glories.

Hengshui saw human activities as early as the neolithic age and further the rise of agricultural civilization.
