Technology event to bring world's youth together

A group of young and creative minds from over 10 countries are about to share their unique visions and make their voices heard at the 2019 Yunqi 2050 Conference in Cloud Town of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province from April 26 to 28.

The Yunqi 2050 Conference is a volunteer-only, non-profit conference that aims to unleash the creative power of youth and maximize their energy and talent.

Spanning across three days, this year's conference will be divided into three major sections and will feature a wide spectrum of social events and activities, including "2050 Camp" and "2050 Round the World Flight".

Participants of the conference will include outstanding youth honored by the World Economic Forum, alumni of Microsoft Research Asia, and technology talents from 10 countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Issues up for discussion range from engineering and science to design, art, and aviation.

The conference is expected to inspire the curiosity and imagination of young people, said Wang Jian, founder of Alibaba Cloud Computing and a volunteer of the conference.

He envisions it as an incredible meeting of people from across the globe, all looking to share knowledge and exchange ideas on how to tackle the challenges of our future.

As a non-profit event, the 2050 conference is initiated and organized by a group of volunteers consisting of university students and influential figures from different walks of life.
