WeChat Read teams up with celebrities for free book campaign

WeChat Read, a reading app from China's predominant instant messaging tool WeChat, collaborated with celebrities in a national campaign that allows one day of free reading on Tuesday.

The campaign, backed by the Central Social Liaison Department of the Communist Youth League, was designed to mark World Book and Copyright Day on April 23.
