The China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair starting from April 18 has become an important platform for showcasing latest innovations and technologies of companies from home and abroad.

A 5.06-meter-tall, 5-ton statue named Plethora, jointly created by Beijing-based Pera Global and LuxMea Studio of the US using 3D printing technology, stands at the entrance of the main exhibition hall of the technology fair.

"Through this piece of work, we aim to bring 3D printing technology into the architecture sector," said Xing Jun, general manager of business development department and quality division of Pera Corp.
