P Storm tops daily China box office

BEIJING, April 14 — Hong Kong action thriller P Storm was the highest grossing film on the Chinese mainland market on Saturday, according to China Movie Data Information Network.

The 4th installment of the Storm franchise grossed over 50.18 million yuan (about $7.48 million).

It was followed by Andhadhun, an Indian black comedy, which took in 29.82 million yuan.

Coming in third was DC superhero film Shazam!, which earned 14.35 million yuan.
