Guangzhou Evergrande leading Melbourne Victory 3-0 in AFC Champions League

GUANGZHOU -- Anderson Talisca scored twice as Guangzhou Evergrande took a 3-0 half-time lead against Melbourne Victory in AFC Champions League Group F here on Wednesday.

Just six minutes into the first half, Gao Lin's left wing cross found Talisca and the Brazilian's header into the far corner gave the home side an early lead.

In the 10th minute, Talisca netted again to double the lead for Guangzhou with a left-footed curling shot from outside the area.

Yang Liyu added the third for Evergrande in the 42nd minute when the 22-year old scored a powerful effort from just inside the box.
