Five dead in east China coach accident

HEFEI -- A coach bus carrying 49 passengers overturned Tuesday morning in East China's Anhui Province, killing five people, local authorities said.
The accident occurred at around 8:50 am on a national highway in Feidong County. The driver was killed instantly. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, four of which died despite treatment while the rest are in stable conditions.
The coach, with a designed capacity of 55 people, belonged to a transport company in the province.
An investigation is underway.
