7 dead, 5 injured in container blast in E China

NANJING - Seven people have been confirmed dead, and five others injured after an explosion occurred in a container containing scrap metal in a metal molding plant in East China's Jiangsu province Sunday morning.
The explosion happened at 7:12 am in an outdoor yard of the Kunshan Waffer Technology Corp Ltd in Kunshan Bonded Zone.
The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
