CPC stresses enhancing Party building in central, state organs
BEIJING -- The General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee has issued a circular stressing efforts to enhance Party building in central and state organs.
"In pushing forward the great new project of Party building in the new era, central and state organs must take the lead and set an example," it reads.
The circular made public Thursday outlines the overall requirements on enhancing Party building and some key principles.
It urges central and state organs to put the Party's political building first, and take the lead in studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
Efforts should be made to promote all-round progress of primary-level Party organizations, it says, while calling for perseverance in strengthening discipline and fighting against unfavorable work styles.
The quality of the Party's mass work must be raised, and leadership over Party building in central and state organs be strengthened, the circular reads.
