Legoland Discovery Center Beijing unveiled Thursday a miniature Beijing made from over 510,000 Lego bricks.

The model showcases Beijing's major landmarks, from historical sites like the Forbidden City and the Great Wall, to the central business district’s skyscrapers, along with modern Beijing.

It took a team of 26 Lego masters, eight architects, one project designer and six animators from around the world 7,250 hours to complete.

The discovery center is due to open to the public on Apr 15.
