The first round of Ukraine's presidential election will be held on March 31 at some 29,800 polling stations in 199 electoral districts across the country.

If no candidate gets an absolute majority, then a second vote will be held on April 21.

About 131,500 law enforcement personnel will be deployed to ensure security at the elections.

According to various Ukrainian opinion polls, actor Volodymyr Zelensky, Petro Poroshenko and opposition politician Yulia Tymoshenko are viewed as front-runners in the upcoming presidential race.
