State Council appoints, removes officials
BEIJING -- The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of several officials Friday.
Luo Wen was appointed vice chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, and he is no longer Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology.
Zhong Denghua was appointed vice education minister, and he no longer serves as president of Tianjin University.
Wang Zhijun was appointed Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology. Guo Weiping was named vice director of the Natioanl Ethnic Affairs Commission, replacing Li Changping.
Chen Chenzhao was named vice general supervisor of national natural resources, and he was removed from the post of deputy auditor-general of the National Audit Office.
Zhao Aiming was appointed deputy head of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and Zhao Gang was named deputy director of the Natioanl Intellectual Property Administration.
