From January to March this year, the Westin Beijing Chaoyang will feature an oyster and sake menu at its Japanese restaurant, Mai. The restaurant’s Japanese oysters come from Kujukushima, Kumamoto and Konagai, and are available in sashimi, teppanyaki, tempura and congee style.

Japanese oysters are in season right now. The famous Kumamoto oyster is known for its sweet taste, while the Konagai oyster is chewy, and the Kujukushima oyster is creamy.

Pair your oysters with sake, like Kikubijin Tokubetsu Junmai, Kitaya Sodden Honjozo and Dassai Junmai Daiginjo.

For more information and reservations, call Mai on 59228888.
