Man detained after photos in Nazi uniform posted online

An 18-year-old man from Henan province has been detained by police after photos showing him and a friend wearing Nazi uniforms at Xiaoshan Beigan Mountain martyrs cemetery in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, were uploaded online, People's Daily reported on Wednesday.
The man, surnamed Li, posted the photos on his QQ social media account with his and his friend's faces covered on Sunday. However, in a separate micro blog post, photographs with Li's face exposed were posted by a microblogger using the name Shangdizhiying_5zn. Along with the photos of Li's exposed face, the micro-blogger condemned his behavior as an insult to martyrs.
Internet police based in Hangzhou said on Tuesday that the photos had been confirmed to be true.
"The man in the photos has been found and detained on the charge of provoking trouble," the police said on their micro blog.
Li ordered the Nazi uniform he wore in the photos from his hometown. On the evening of Dec 30, Li went with a colleague surnamed Wu and three other colleagues to the martyrs cemetery and had photographs taken of him and Wu wearing Nazi uniforms.
When questioned by police, Li said he was a fan of army uniforms, and the photographs were taken for fun.
In another statement released on their micro blog, the internet police said any actions done in public and online spaces should not cross the bottom line of laws.
