Chengdu college gives postgraduate candidates wrong exam paper

A university in Chengdu, Sichuan province, has launched an investigation after students taking the national postgraduate entrance exam received the wrong test paper, China News Service reported Tuesday.
Students expecting to be tested on solid physics on Sunday at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China said they were mistakenly given questions about circuitry.
The college issued an apology on Sunday night, promising to find the people responsible for the incident and hold them to account.
Arrangements will be made to allow students to retake the exam, with the college covering all their costs, it said.
