Couple opens zero-waste store in Beijing for those who want to experience the lifestyle

A zero-waste life is a lifestyle that hardly creates any garbage. So, a zero-waste theme store is about providing a range of everyday, practical and aesthetically pleasing zero-waste products to help people start on a one-stop, zero-waste life journey.

"Zero waste" or "danshari" was first proposed by a French woman Bea Johnson.

Her advocacy is: live a life and try not to create any garbage; use various means to "unburden" the earth such as eliminating the use of one-off goods; transferring unwanted items to others or donating to charities and ensuring that degraded waste is composted.
