The "Terracotta Warriors and Horses Commemorative Vouchers", a series of products of Chinese Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation, was offered to the public on Dec 21 in Xi’an, Shaanxi province in Northwest China.

Launched by the corporation and the Emperor Qinshihuang Mausoleum Museum, the commemorative vouchers use a number of sophisticated industry technologies, with profiles of senior military officials as the main body and the symbolic armor of the Qin Dynasty (221-207 BC), the first feudal dynasty in Chinese history, highlighting the broad minds of powerful leaders.

Yang Wentian, the corporation’s deputy general manager, said that the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of the Qin Dynasty are precious legacies left to us by our ancestors and developing a series of cultural products based on them is of far-reaching significance in protecting and utilizing cultural resources, promoting historical culture, accelerating the construction of advanced culture, promoting national aspirations and strengthening cultural self-confidence.
