Medical robot shines at tech exhibition in Hefei
A robot caused excitement at a tech exhibition marking 40 years of China's reform and opening-up in Hefei, East China's Anhui province.
The robot Jiajia, dressed up as a medical worker, can imitate the doctor's consultation process, talk with patients and provide clinical suggestions based on big data information.
During the process she can collect, gather, categorize and organize the patient's symptoms description, provide more options to a doctor and assist the doctor to complete consultation.
The tech exhibition showcased over 1,500 exhibits of cutting-edge technology from scientific and research institutes, colleges and universities, well-known enterprises in 16 cities of the province.
The exhibition, which lasts till Dec 25, not only shows technological achievements in the past four decades, but also aims to build a more modern Anhui driven by technological innovation.
