The architect has successfully has added more than 2,000 square meters of new galleries, transforming the pool into a museum, while retaining the integrity of its spaces.

Specifically, the lobby and temporary exhibition room were built on the former plant site, while the large pool was redesigned as a decorative sculpture garden, highlighting the lovely galls mosaic tiles.

Walking along the poolside, visitors can witness a wide variety of statues and sculptures reflected in the water, looking like a group of bathers ready to take a dip in the pool.

Meanwhile, the museum, marked by Roubaix's industrial adventure, is a location where applied arts is placed side by side with fine arts. The presentation is both chronological and thematic, creating a dialogue between forms and disciplines. For instance, the painting here is compared with the decorative arts, sculpture with architecture, fashion and furniture.

Also, visitor have a chance to see classics by famous artists such as Pablo Ruiz Picasso, Marc Zakharovich Chagall and Raoul Dufy and ceramics by Hervé di Rosa.
