5.2-magnitude quake hits waters off Taiwan: CENC

BEIJING - A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck the waters off the Hualien county of Taiwan at 5:21 am Sunday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 23.71 degrees north latitude and 121.8 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 26 kilometers, the CENC said.
