Show to review ink art over 40 years

The Beijing Minsheng Art Museum will hold an exhibition from Dec 18 to review the evolution of ink painting over the past four decades.

The show, titled New Ink Art in China: 1979-2018, will examine how artists active during the period kept enriching the landscape of ink art through vanguard, experimental approaches, but by keeping to the core spirit of the tradition.

The show, which runs through Feb 23, will feature works from public art museums, artists and collectors.
