NEW YORK -- An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted China's Taiwan at 15:15:40 GMT on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 21.4 km, was initially determined to be at 23.9978 degrees north latitude and 121.5661 degrees east longitude.
