Bus explosion injures 17 in Sichuan

Police in Jiajiang county, Southwest China’s Sichuan province, are calling on whistleblowers to provide clues to a criminal suspect who is believed to be responsible for creating a bus explosion which injured 17 people on Wednesday.
The explosion took place on a bus at 5:31pm on Wednesday in Yancheng township, which is the county seat of Jiajiang.
A police investigation found that Lu Shibing, a 44-year-old man in Qianjin village in the county's Shunhe township, was the criminal suspect.
People providing important clues will be rewarded, the county public security said in its official Weibo.
