China-Portugal ties at a glance

Starting from Jan 1, 2019, five cities in China will carry out the 144-hour visa-free transit policy for foreign visitors from Portugal, an increase from 72 hours in 2013.

The five cities are Xiamen in East China's Fujian province, Qingdao in East China's Shandong province, Wuhan in Central China's Hubei province, Chengdu in Southwest China's Sichuan province and Kunming in Southwest China's Yunnan province.
