Peking University to open new campus in Changping district

One of China's top universities, Peking University, will establish a new campus in Changping district, focusing on artificial intelligence research, Beijing Youth Daily reported on Tuesday.
The new campus will cover an area of 68.35 hectares, according to a plan that was approved by the government in 2010.
Wang Hesheng, head of the Changping district, said the local government will provide supportive facilities in the transportation, living and business sectors for the development of the new campus, to boost the integrated growth of the university and the district.
